Maxxzandra Ford was surprised to find out she was pregnant, only realising she was expecting when she began to rapidly put on weight. In fact, she had put on so much weigh by her 35th week that she thought she was carrying twins and considering she herself is one, it wasn’t unlikely.
However Maxxzandra, who was already mum to a five-year-old and a one-year-old was in for a shock when she was told that she was only having one and that he was going to be a big baby.
Giving birth a few days ago in St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital where she works, the mum naturally gave birth to little Avery Ford who weighed a staggering 14.1lbs. He is the heaviest baby to have been born in the hospital and one of the largest in the state of Florida.
