Water Wipes baby wipes has released its first ever ad – which is more like a film really – and it’s one of the most stunning videos we’ve ever seen.
The beautiful ad sees us introduced to three real life Irish couples as they welcome their new babies, catching amazing candid footage of their emotions they get to know this brand new, perfect little human.
In the video, the mums test the effects of skin-to-skin contact as opposed to swaddling on their babies, and the results are as awe-inspiring as they’re tear-jerking.
Dr. Susan Ludlington assessed the difference both practices had on the babies – not that they really need a professional to tell them, as the babies’ reaction to cuddling their mums’ bare chests was as obvious as it was instantaneous.
The peace these gorgeous babies felt as they lay skin-to-skin on their mother’s chests is a reminder of the unshakeable bond mums share with their babies, and the incredible power of our bodies to comfort our children.
“Skin-to skin has synchronised your temperatures, synchronised your heart rates and you’re actually synchronising each other’s biology,” says Susan.
