Just one year on from having a lump removed from her breast, Xtra Factor presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford was forced to endure further frightening surgery after a potentially dangerous lump was discovered in her womb.

The 33-year-old star was told that if she didn't have the lump removed, it could affect her chances of becoming a mother, with one source telling the Sun newspaper: "If she didn't treat it, the lump could become vey dangerous and potentially affect her fertility."

A source close to the star revealed that Sarah-Jane is having difficulty coming to terms with the frightening discovery, saying: "She's feeling really low after the op, it was a real shock."

The TV and radio presenter was apparently unaware of the severity of her case, with an insider admitting: "She didn't know quite how serious it was and has been been putting it off for weeks due to her workload. But after doctors checked it out she needed emergency surgery."

We're thinking of Sarah-Jane during this difficult time and wishing the lovely star a speedy recovery.
