They were the golden couple of reality TV during the noughties, and fans were left heartbroken when Katie Price and Peter André ended their four-year marriage.
However, while the pair went through their fair share of drama after their split, Katie is looking forward to a happier future with her ex.
Admitting that things are now amicable between her and the Mysterious Girl singer, the mum-of-five said she looks forward to getting ‘honest’ about their chequered past.
“Peter and I have never had a proper chat about everything that happened. One day I want us to sit down together and be honest about it all,” she said.
The star – who has daughter Princess and son Junior with Peter – added: “It’s all amicable right now. He’s got his life and I’ve got mine.
Speaking to Closer, the 38-year-old got nostalgic as she looked back on all that the showbiz couple achieved during their relationship, including a duet single and a family reality show.
“I think a lot of people are trying to be like how me and Peter were, because we made a career out of it; we made a brand. But there was only one Katie and Peter – you can’t recreate that!” she said.
Katie and Peter, who met while participating on I’m A Celebrity…, split in 2009, after four years of marriage.
