They have always come across as one of the most loved-up couples in Hollywood, and so, many people were taken aback by claims that Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are set to split.
No one was more surprised by the news than the Thor star himself, however, who took to social media this week to vehemently deny any such reports.
Posting a photo of himself and Elsa enjoying a boat ride together, the 33-year-old wrote: “Looking for a new wife, according to Woman’s Day magazine and other misleading outlets.”
“Honey, you still love me, right?!” he added, along with the hashtag ‘Thanks For The Heads Up’.
Elsa echoed her husband’s sentiments with her own Instagram post; a photo of them cuddled up together, the caption simply reading, “Always and forever”.
The report to which the couple are referring suggested that Chris and Elsa are ‘on the verge of a breakdown’.
The pair, who have been married for six years, are parents to three children: four-year-old India Rose, and two-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan.
