Meghan Markle may have broken one very important royal tradition this Christmas, but it certainly hasn’t tainted the Royal Family’s view of her.

The 36-year-old charmed her in-laws, and most importantly the Queen, by purchasing one very witty Christmas gift.

It has been shared that the former actress gave her Majesty a singing toy hamster.

The gift was a huge hit with the Queen who found it to be extremely funny- however, some family members loved the gift a little bit more than she did.

Apparently, the Queen’s corgis grabbed the toy out of her hands before she even had a chance to look at it, but luckily, she found the entire moment to be extraordinarily funny.

The Queen told the bride-to-be that the toy would keep her dogs company. The dogs may have stolen the Queen’s Christmas gift, but the Royal’s didn’t let that ruin their day.

During his guest editor role on BBC 4’s Today show, Prince Harry gushed about his fiancée. He opened up about their holiday celebrations, “The family loved having her there. We had an amazing time staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running around with the kids.”

The 33-year-old added, “She has done an absolutely amazing job, just getting in there and it's the family, I suppose, that she's never had.”

The Suits actress was incredibly honoured to spend Christmas with Harry and his family. Normally, she would have to wait until after her wedding to Harry, however much to Meghan’s delight the Queen extended an invite to her, despite tradition.
