She is already mum to her adorable daughter Mia, but in the past number of days there has been speculation that Zara Phillips may be expecting another child with husband Mike Tindall.
The Royal set tongues wagging after an appearance at the Royal Ascot yesterday, with social media users jumping to conclusions after seeing the mother-of-one photographed with a hand over her stomach.
With speculation mounting over the past 24 hours, the 34-year-old decided to address the rumours for once and for all.
A statement issued by Zara’s representative to MailOnline.com denied the report, reading: “Zara is not pregnant – her plans remain the same in terms of preparation for Rio 2016.”
Zara and her husband, former rugby international Mike, are already parents to 17-month-old daughter Mia.
Zara, who won silver at the 2012 Olympics in London, previously drew comparisons between motherhood and her sport, equestrianism.
“I’ve really enjoyed it. In a funny kind of way it’s like having another high performance horse on your hands. You’ve got to get them in a schedule and feed,” she told CNN.
She admitted: “I wasn’t maternal at all before I had Mia, but I’m lucky she’s very good.”
