Major congratulations are in order for Candice Accola, who has just announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The 28-year-old, best known for playing Caroline Forbes on the hit teen drama The Vampire Diaries, shared the news in the sweetest way, via her Instagram account.
Posting a photo of herself surrounded by husband Joe King and his two daughters, Ava and Elise, Candice pointed towards a homemade pregnancy announcement T-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘baby’, ‘love’, ‘grateful’, ‘surprise’ and ‘excited’.
Joe, meanwhile – who is a guitarist in The Fray – wore his own T-shirt, with the word ‘SuperDad’ written on it.
“Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting T-shirts and taking an awesome family photo. Happy Monday everybody! Thank you to our friend Rachel Ridings for coming over and snapping this sweet pic,” wrote the mum-to-be.
As if Candice’s tiny baby bump wasn’t enough to confirm the news, the actress added a hashtag which read ‘that ain’t no burrito in my belly’.
