It's been an incredibly emotional week for the daughters of some of the world's most popular actors and entertainers who tragically passed away before their time in recent years.

Following Zelda Williams' touching description of grief following her father Robin's passing and just days after Bindi Irwin paid tribute to her late dad, Steve, the daughter of much-loved and sorely missed actor, Paul Walker, has taken to social media to remember her own dad.

On what would have been his 42nd birthday, 16-year-old daughter Meadow took to Instagram yesterday in order to share an incredibly sweet photo of her and Paul while also sharing her thoughts on the foundation which has been established in his name.

"Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill, she began, in a post which has been liked over 130,000 in less than 24 hours.

Opening up about her intentions for the future, the teenage philantropist continued: "I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others," she continued.

"I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation on his birthday, wrote his heartbroken daughter.

Finishing the moving post with advice for her legions of fans and followers, Meadow, who is nearing the second anniversary of her father's death, wrote: "I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood."

Paul, who was best known for his roles in film franchise Fast & Furious, died following a single-vehicle collision in November 2013.
