The 28-year-old Glee star threw a baby shower last Saturday and if the photographs are anything to go by, it was certainly a day to remember.
With the help of L.A party planner, Sharon Sacks, Naya and Ryan created a very special environment in which to celebrate the impending arrival of their first child.
Choosing a children's book theme for the beautiful event, the couple were eager to create a soothing ambiance for friends and family to enjoy.
Elaborating on the surroundings, one party guest said: "They wanted to create a lovely, serene environment with white and ivory tones where guests could enter a room that would keep their minds at ease."
The couple chose subtle shades for their flowers and table linen while their menus features illustrations from popular children's books including Where is Curious George, The Complete Tales of Winnie the Pooh and Love You Forever.
Taking to Instagram to pay tribute to those who helped plan the celebration, Naya uploaded a snap of herself and Ryan admiring their cake, writing: "We were blown away by how beautiful our cake for the baby shower was! @hansencakes turned my favourite childhood book into a sweet treat!"
Tributes and messages of congratulations have poured in for the star since her upload, with one fan writing: "Huge congrats to you and your hubby, Naya, on your up-coming Little One!!! By the way, you look so beautiful pregnant!" (sic)
According to all who attended the overjoyed couple's celebration, the gathering was a huge success with one guest revealing: "There was lots of laughter. You could feel all the joy in the room."
