Social media has gone into meltdown in recent hours following the announcement that the Swedish royal family have welcomed a highly-anticipated new arrival!
38-year-old Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel are currently, along with their first-born daughter Princess Estelle, celebrating the birth of the couple's second child who arrived last night weighing eight lbs and measuring 22 inches in length.
Prince Daniel, who announced the family's wonderful pregnancy news last September, confirmed that he is now a proud father-of-two and assured the public that both Mum and Baby are doing very well.
Opening up about the impact his first son's arrival has had on him thus far, Prince Daniel joked: "I have not had time to feel just yet how it feels to be a father of two. But it feels good so far!"
The family, who have unsurprisingly been inundated with messages of congratulations online, left the Karolinksa Hospital in Stockholm this morning with their new son who they have named Oscar Carol Olaf.
The couple, who welcomed their first child in February 2013, tied the knot in June 2010.
We're sending huge congratulations their way!
