With the help of Ed Sheeran, Rixton frontman Jake Roche proposed to Jesy Nelson last month, and the Little Mix star has been emailing Coleen Nolan, Jake’s mum, ever since.
Taking to her column in The Mirror the Loose Women host, wrote: "Jesy has been emailing with dress ideas, ranging from fishtails to princess skirts. They definitely want the whole hog, a white wedding with all the trimmings."
The 50-year-old, who was actually there when Jake got down on one knee at Manchester Arena - although she was hiding behind a curtain - has made no secret of her love for the singer, saying she is “a lovely girl”.
Her 22-year-old son, who has declared himself the “king of romance”, described the proposal as nerve-racking at Rixton’s Island Beats show at Thorpe Park in August.
"I planned it myself – yeah it was a nerve-racking experience but it was good."
Sadly, while Jesy is clearly very keen to tie the knot, it looks like we’ll have to wait a little while longer, with Jake saying: "For me it was the next level of commitment, we are away a lot, I won't see her now for a few weeks so yeah we will see what happens."
