Star’s partner posts first picture of newborn – and shares a big surprise

After today, we can be sure of one thing about this celebrity couple: they don’t do announcements of major life events by half!

 

Just hours after singer Macklemore announced that he and partner Tricia Davis had welcomed a baby girl on May 29^th, the new mum has shared the first precious photo of father and daughter – along with another big announcement.

 

Posting the beautiful picture of Ben and little Sloane on Instagram, Tricia wrote: “We had our beautiful baby girl on May 29^th…Got married on June 27^th once the Supreme Court ruled same sex couples could too…And now new music.”

 

The doting new mum added: “Thank you all for being patient, this year has been incredible so far, we love you.”

Her post comes after Ben shared the snapshot of a single cover, revealing that he and Tricia had welcomed a baby girl named Sloane Ava.

 

“There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe. She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life. This song is for her,” said Ben, of new single ‘Growing Up (Sloane’s Song)’.

 

 

We guess a double congratulations is in order then!
