‘A baby was all I wanted’: Khloe turned to IVF to help save her marriage
She was just 27 at the time – and fighting to save her ailing marriage. Now Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she had IVF in a bid to help her get pregnant.
Speaking on yesterday’s Kocktails With Khloe, she admitted: “At the time I was, like, ugh, gotta have a baby.
“That’s all I wanted.”
Following a whirlwind month-long romance, Ms Kardashian married Lamar Odom back in 2009 when she was 25 – although the basketball star was often subjected to rumour relating to his alleged drug-use and infidelity.
“I thought maybe it would like fix the situation,” she also recalled.
However, and now estranged from Lamar, Khloe went on to say that everything worked out for the best – and that a baby was never going to fix her marital issues.
“I’m also happy it didn’t happen because I was young. I was 27,” she explained.
Khloe was rumoured to be undergoing IVF in 2011, although this is the first time she’s publicly confirmed that she did indeed turn to the treatment.
