The bond between a mother and her babies cannot be broken, regardless of the distance or the circumstances, and this has been proven in the most beautiful way today by gorgeous dog Cora.
The Marin Humane Society has reduced the internet to tears this week, after sharing a stunning video of a shelter dog reuniting with her lost puppies.
Cora was ‘surrendered’ to the organisation earlier this week, and after examination the staff discovered that she had recently had puppies. Sad and scared, Cora clearly missed her babies, and the staff decided to do their level best to reunite the family.
Have we got your "awww!" factor of the day! Yesterday, two frightened dogs were surrendered to us. Upon examining the female, we learned she recently had puppies. After some detective work and a lot of convincing, our team was able to get the person who surrendered the dogs to also surrender the puppies, as they still needed their momma and were not in a safe situation. We captured the moment when sad and scared mom got to see her puppies again. Tears of joy all around at this happy reunion.

“After some detective work and a lot of convincing, our team was able to get the person who surrendered the dogs to also surrender the puppies, as they still needed their momma and were not in a safe situation,” they wrote in a Facebook post.
Cora and her pups – later named Carson, Moseley, Branson and Edith – were reunited by the Society’s team, and the whole thing was captured on video. As you can imagine, it was an incredible moment, and the internet is now in bits after the footage went viral.
After receiving a barrage of inquiries about Cora and the pups, the team later shared the sweetest, most heart-warming update with their followers: stunning photos of Cora's babies cuddling blissfully.
