Actress confirms split by filing for divorce after five years of marriage

Neither released a public statement regarding reports of their split from earlier this week, but it seems this star has confirmed the end of her marriage.

 

According to entertainment site TMZ, Hollywood star Megan Fox has filed for divorce from husband of five years Brian Austin Green.

 

Having obtained legal documents, the site reported today that the Transformers actress is seeking joint physical and legal custody of the couple’s two children; Noah, who is almost three, and 18-month-old Bodhi.

 

The mother-of-two has allegedly cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ for the marriage split. While previous reports suggested that the pair had been living separate lives for the past six months, the documents stated June 15^th as the official date of their separation.

 

 

Despite reports that Megan’s friendship with former co-star Shia LaBeouf was a key reason behind their divorce, it is alleged that their split is ‘very amicable’.

 

On the same day that details of the court documents were revealed, a source close to the couple claimed that the couple could reunite in the future, given that they still “love each other very much”.

 

Megan and Brian started dating in 2004, going on to tie the knot in 2010.
