Actress takes to Twitter to share touching Father’s Day message

She gave birth to the couple’s first child earlier this year, and it is clear that this outspoken actress is loving motherhood.

 

Taking to her Twitter page on her fiancé’s very first Father’s Day, Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley shared a beautiful black and white picture of baby Alfie with his dad, Tom Pitfield.

 

She captioned the candid shot: “Happy First Fathers Day @TP_PTfitness - we love you so much!!! Love Me and Alfie xx”

The 31-year-old also paid tribute to the fitness instructor in her Hello! blog, saying: "You’ve made me the happiest girl in the land and you are the most wonderful father to our beautiful son Alfie."

 

The mum-of-one is known for her outspoken views, and earlier this year, blasted parents who feed their children junk food, saying it was a form of “abuse”.

 

“And allowing your child to eat crap every day is not kindness…it is mindless ABUSE. You are KILLING them,” she added.

 

She also slammed the media promoting a negative pregnancy body, telling mums all over “to be happy, be healthy and deflect negativity from [their] life.”
