Make-up is not only great for hiding blemishes and to even out your skin tone, it is also handy for making you look younger.

Here are five anti-ageing make-up tricks you can use:

Creamy eyeshadow
Make your eyes look bigger and brighter by blending a creamy brown eyeshadow across the creases of your eyelids. This will make your eyes look deeper and helps to hide any puffiness.

Go for the highlighter
Don’t be afraid to use highlighter as it can make your skin look soft and subtle. Dab a little onto your cheekbones and it will draw the attention to the eyes.

Strong brows
As we get older our eyebrows start to look a little thin. Make sure you are filling out your brows with an eyebrow powder or pencil.

Pink lips
Make sure your lips look young and plump by using a lipstick with a pink undertone. Go for a youthful shade and nobody will be able to tell your age.

Perfect foundation
Make sure you go for a foundation shade that is the exact same as your skin. Going for something too dark can make you look older and too pale will make you look washed out. If you want to add a little bit of colour do so by gently sweeping bronzer across your T-zone.
