The AVEENO® DERMEXA Range is suitable for adults and children from the age of three months who are prone to suffering from irritated and dry skin.
Colloidal oatmeal has long been used for its soothing and cleansing qualities as an essential part of the management of dry skin. Committed to advancing the science behind oats, AVEENO® scientists discovered and isolated Avenanthramides, a polyphenolic extract of oats that enhances the overall benefits of colloidal oatmeal. Avenanthramides are the most potent antioxidant part of oats and are contained in AVEENO® Dermexa products.
There are two products in the range that are safe to use on adults and children from three months of age:
Soothing Emollient Wash
This mild cleanser is formulated to gently cleanse irritated and dry skin so that it does not induce dryness. Skin is left feeling clean, softer and soothed.
Soothing Emollient Cream
This soothes and moisturizes very dry and irritated skin for up to 24 hours. It reinforces the skin barrier and provides relief of discomfort and itching sensations.
