Being a new mum means little sleep and little time to spend on your appearance. However, looking gorgeous and feeling a little more like your old self doesn’t take that much effort.

Here are six beauty tips to help you feel a little more glamorous, even if you are covered in baby sick:

Have a shower
If you can find the time, have a shower every morning. You don’t need to wash your hair every day, but a shower will help wake you up and provides a great opportunity to thoroughly wash your face.

Moisturise
If you don’t moisturise enough, your skin will be dehydrated and look dull. It also provides a great base for your foundation.

Light foundation
You don’t need to use lots of foundation. A light tinted moisturiser or one with light coverage is all you need to perk up your skin.

Concealer
If you have a few blemishes you want to cover up, use your concealer. Dab a little on but don’t forget to blend it in.

Mascara
A little light layer of mascara will open your eyes that bit more.

Blusher
Blusher is perfect to give your skin some much needed colour, especially if you haven’t had much sleep. Simply sweep it across your cheeks and you’re done.
