Men say pregnant bodies are attractive

Many pregnant women find that they lose every shred of sexiness as soon as they become pregnant. That is because they are under the impression that their partner no longer finds them attractive due to added pregnancy weight, morning sickness and mood swings that women experience during pregnancy.

 

We all know how pregnancy changes the body in unpleasant ways. But, when a Reddict user asked men to share their thoughts on how they truly felt about a pregnant woman’s body, the results were quite surprising.

 

The thread received hundreds of answers from soon-to-be dads and those who already had children. With mostly positive response, there was a lot of emphasis on how an expectant-mother’s body blooms during pregnancy and how much men loved this aspect of pregnancy:

 

“I thought my wife was freaking ridiculously gorgeous when she was pregnant. I mean I felt that way before and after too, but it felt like something more … like I had a primal attraction to her once she was carrying my child,” wrote one dad.

 

Another said he still sees the same women he initially fell in love with, for him his wife is the ‘exact woman’ when pregnant.

 

It goes without saying that expectant-mums will find it reassuring to know that since the men had the anonymity of the web, they all gave their full and honest opinions:

 

“I told my lady every day that she was beautiful and she was / is. Women are women and she didn’t believe me and still doesn’t. Such is life.”
