It has been a time of devastation and tragedy for him, having recently lost his daughter, and now singer Bobby Brown has bravely opened up for the first time since Bobbi Kristina's passing.

During an interview on chat show The Real, Bobby heartbreakingly revealed how he believed the late Whitney Houston 'had a part' in their daughter's death.

"We prayed in hope for six months, you know, for something better to happen, but when God calls you he calls you. I'm pretty sure her mother had a part with, like, 'Come on, let's get her up here'...in the best way possible," he said.

The 46-year-old added: "She was not comfortable by herself, I guess, and she just called my daughter with her."

Bobbi Kristina passed away on July 26, having been in a coma since January after being found unresponsive in a bathtub. Police are still investigating what happened to the 22-year-old singer.

Bobby was supported on the show by his wife, Alicia Etheredge Brown, who recently welcomed their second child together; daughter Bodhi.
