Last month, little Norah Wood went to the grocery store with her mum to pick up some cupcakes for her birthday.Norah got more than just cupcakes on this trip to the shop, she also got a new best friend.
Norah was sitting in the trolley when she noticed an elderly man beside her.
"Hi old person! It's my birfday today!" she exclaimed to the elderly gentleman.
The pair became fast friends, and chatted as they walked throughout the shop.
Norah's mum, Tara, shared the story on her Facebook page, where she explained: "we said 'goodbye' and carried on shopping. A few minutes later she turned and asked "Can I take a picture with the old man for my birfday?"
The duo posed together then they hugged each other like they were long lost friends.
Tara then thanked this kind-hearted old man for spending some time with little to Norah.
"No, thank YOU. This has been the best day I've had in a long time. You've made me so happy, Ms. Norah" he replied.
I'm not crying... YOU ARE.
