Our favourite mum-of-one Chrissy Teigen is handing the reigns over to her one-year-old daughter… at least when it comes to jewellery.
Luna Simone Stephens, daughter of Chrissy and singer John Legend, just turned one this last April.
“She doesn't have her ears pierced and I'm going to let her decide when she wants to do that,” the model told E! News at the Forevermark Tribute Collection Launch on Tuesday.
The Lip-Sync Battle co-host cited her own experience in why she made that decision, saying, “I remember when I was little what I went through. My mom did it for me.”
The bestselling author even mentioned wanting to give her little one a customized piece of jewellery with her name on it!
“I think there's something really beautiful about her name—the way it's written,” she gushed.
The model detailed how she and her Grammy Award-winning hubby picked the name Luna: “I think when John and I were picking a name, we wanted something that sounded beautiful. Of course, John is big on the sound of things.”
“I was thinking more about how it was written and it's just so feminine and so beautiful the way you write it, that I love it in like maybe a nameplate necklace or something would be so cute on her," she added.
That sounds absolutely gorgeous!
Chrissy and John conceived Luna through IVF. The mum has spoken about her desire for baby number two…. and three, and four, and even more!
While at the Revolve Awards, where she was named ‘Woman of the Year’, Chrissy told E! News that the adorable couple is trying to have their second child ‘hopefully in the next few years’.
“I really want, to like, just knock em out,” she said, “I want to just be pregnant for the rest of my life.”
