Congratulations are in order for Busted singer Charlie Simpson, who has revealed that he is about to become a dad for the second time!

The 32-year-old shared the lovely news during an interview with Metro, confirming that wife Anna is pregnant with their second child.

“I’ve just found out we’re having a second! I’m super-excited!” gushed Charlie, who is already father to two-year-old son Arlo.

“We know the sex, but I want to keep it a secret. I haven’t actually told anyone she is pregnant yet!”

The star, who reunited with his former band-mates in 2015, is bracing himself as he knows that it will be ‘crazy having two little ones running around’. He’s not wrong, there!

Charlie’s news comes at an exciting time in the boyband world, with good friend and McFly star Danny Jones recently sharing his own heart-warming announcement.

In an exclusive interview with Hello! magazine this week, the 31-year-old revealed that he and wife Georgina are expecting their first child.

“At first, we were shocked when it happened as we’d been casually trying, but so many people have such a hard graft starting a family that we didn’t really expect it to happen quickly,” he said, explaining that their little one was conceived while they were on holidays.

“It was a ‘let’s go to a festival with friends’ holiday. Yeah, it’s cool: it’s a Coachella baby.”

Back in Busted, Charlie need only turn to his buddy and band-mate Matt Willis for advice on dealing with a gaggle of little ones!

Matt, who is married to Big Brother presenter Emma Willis, is father to three children: eight-year-old Isabelle, five-year-old Ace, and one-year-old Trixie.

Matt previously opened up about how different life in a band is now for him, Charlie and fellow musician James, as they try to juggle music and touring with fatherhood.

My little man watching TV this morning. :)

“Everything’s different when you have a kid. Working is a little bit harder, because when you’re away that’s the downside of being in a band – that you have to have some time away from your family,” he told The Sun.

“But that’s just our job, and we get to do something really cool for a living, which is awesome; but then we go home.”

It sounds like they’re doing a stand-up job so far, anyway!

We’re delighted for Charlie and his family.
