Here at MummyPages HQ, we feel a frisson of delight whenever we lay eyes on the image of an unborn child captured during his or her excited parents' hospital appointment,  but there's no doubt some images make a bigger impact than others.

From footage of babies clapping in delight to ultrasound images which appear to suggest the presence of another, we thought we had seen it all until now!

Hitting the headlines before they've even made their grand arrival into this world, Laura Newman and Dan Jones' baby has certainly gotten the internet talking as it debates whether one particular impending arrival may be in the presence of royalty.

Undergoing an emergency ultrasound at nine weeks, Laura and Dan were stunned to see something in the bottom right hand corner of the image which they believe bears an uncanny resemblance to King Arthur.

Recalling the moment they laid eyes on the image, Laura, who is now 37 weeks pregnant, explained: "The image very clearly looks like King Arthur. From the crown to the oversized collar, it's very clear. I couldn't believe my eyes."

Determined to confirm her initial thoughts, Laura immediately went online to do a little research, saying: "I went straight onto Google images and searched for an image of King Arthur and put the two together then passed it onto my family who were all amazed."

Perhaps, most amazingly, Laura and Dan had began calling their unborn child 'Little King Arthur' long before ever having attended their hospital ultrasound.

Opening up about the incredible coincidence, Laura, who works as a massage therapist, explains; "We loved that name and shared it with close friends and family, just as a joke really - it's not something we planned on going on the birth certificate."

Thank heavens for that as proud parents Laura and Dan recently learned they are ,in fact, expecting a girl!

We imagine she'll be a perfect little princess!
