Waking up late is bad enough, but waking up late and realising your hair is greasier than normal is never a good start to the day. And while the best thing to do is to wash it, sometimes there is just never enough time.

So if you woke up this morning with hair that leaves little to be desired, the following tips might help you out:

Dry shampoo

A dry shampoo is a great way to absorb grease and grime between washes. There are plenty on the market for you to choose from ranging in price.

Talcum powder

Don’t fret if you don’t have any dry shampoo to hand, talcum powder does the trick just as well. Although make sure you brush it out thoroughly as it can leave your hair a little on the grey side.

Hide it with style

Even if you don’t have the above products, you can still hide your undesirable hair by styling it in a top knot or a messy ponytail.

Perfume

Make sure you hide greasy smells with a spritz of your favourite perfume. The alcohol in the spray can even help get rid of some of the oil but it can dry your hair out so don’t do this too often.
