The weekend is in full swing, and we think you deserve a little pamper session.
However, you probably don't have the time to hit the salon, so we suggest you bring the salon to your home.
Check out these gorgeous hair mask recipes:
1. For dry hair
1 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
1/4 cup yoghurt
Mix the ingredients well. Apply to damp hair, and allow to sit for 15-20 minutes.
Rinse and wash your hair, and allow to dry as normal.
2. For all hair types
1/2 sliced avocado
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp honey
Combine ingredients in a blender until smooth. Apply the mask evenly throughout damp hair.
Then, cover hair with a shower cap or towel and let the mask sit for 30 minutes. Wash out the mask with a cleansing conditioner.
3. For an itchy scalp
1 ripe banana
1/2 avocado
In a blender, add 1/2 an avocado and 1 very ripe banana. Blend together well.
Apply to hair, leave on for 15-20 minutes with hair wrapped in a towel. Rinse and wash as usual.
4. For limp hair
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 can of FLAT beer
1 raw egg
Mix all of the ingredients together and massage into clean, towel-dried hair.
Let it sit for about 20 minutes and then rinse well with cool to lukewarm water – too hot and it will cook the egg.
5. For greasy hair
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 juiced lemon
1 tbsp honey
Whisk ingredients together until well-blended. Apply the mask evenly throughout damp hair. Let the mask sit for 30 minutes. Wash out the mask with shampoo & conditioner.
