Drew King completed a homerun alongside his dad, something which his father James thought would never be possible.

The six-year-old suffers with Cystic Fibrosis and Cerebral Palsy, mainly being able to express himself through smiling and laughing.

And he had no problem in doing so after an eventful day at his local baseball field.

Drew’s dad James is an avid baseball lover, helping to coach the local team in Ohio alongside Jeremy Tolbert.

But Jeremy had a surprise up his sleeve for the father and son which the family didn’t see coming.

In the middle of the baseball game, Jeremy called number 33, Drew King, onto the field alongside his dad to hit a homerun, and it is the most magical moment we have ever seen.

Speaking to MagicMum, Drew’s mother, Tiffany, revealed: “James wasn't aware that Drew was being called on to the field.”

“He was put on the spot and ran with it.”

“I am very proud. This was a very touching experience for all, James, Drew and I. It meant everything to me to see them on that field. It was a life changing moment in several ways.”

Tiffany explains that it was Coach Jeremy who organised the whole event, knowing how much baseball means to the family:

“It meant more to James than I even know; he has struggled in this area with Drew. He is an amazing father and does everything with him.”

“When it came to baseball, which is his passion, he struggled. Now he knows that they can do it.”

“We owe it all to coach Jeremy Tolbert.”

And most importantly, Tiffany told us that her son thoroughly enjoyed the day too: “Drew loved running the bases with his dad he was smiling ear to ear.”

This story has truly touched our hearts; we love to see dreams come true.
