The bonds of family run deep, especially for siblings, and this held particularly true for Californian sisters Corey Struve Talbott and Katie Struve Morgan recently.
The sisters, who are just two years apart in age, have made headlines after giving birth in the same hospital, on the same day, just 15 minutes apart!
The wonderful coincidence took place on August 11th, when Katie started going in to labour at Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula.
Sister Corey, who was waiting on her forthcoming C-section, arrived to take photos and support her sister through the journey – but got quite the surprise when she started going into labour herself!
According to USA Today, Katie and husband Tom welcomed their daughter, Indie, at 1:28pm; Corey and Travis, meanwhile, welcomed daughter Ryatt at 1:42pm.
In epic footage captured by new dad Travis, the sisters’ doctor, Donnelle Laughlin, can be seen ‘sprinting’ down the corridor between their rooms!
“This is crazy! It’s like having twins, but two separate people!” she can be heard telling Travis, as she rushes through the hospital.
What a great story to tell the cousins when they’re older!
