When Lauren Blank turned 16, she wasn't expecting to receive a gift from her grandfather that would leave the entire Internet bawling.
Lauren, who hails from Keller in Texas, took to Twitter when she opened the present... mainly because it is the sweetest thing EVER.
Sharing a picture of her gift, the teenager wrote: "Today for my birthday, my grandpa gave me three books filled with stories of each time he hung out with me from the age of 2 to 5. I am speechless."

Such an incredibly thoughtful gift, we're not surprised she was left speechless.
Her grandad had kept the journals safe for the past nine years, and asked Lauren's mum on the morning of her birthday if he should give them to her now or wait until he passed away, according to BuzzFeed.
And we're so glad he gifted them to Lauren now.
The notebooks document every thing they did together over a period of four years. From the mundane to the more adventurous, the teen explained how they are "filled with daily things that we did."
"We went to the zoo a lot, and flew kites, and throughout the notebooks he gave me advice."
This is actually the sweetest thing we've seen in a long time; we're not crying... you are!
