It may seem like only yesterday that we were packing away the school books, but already the dreaded ‘back to school’ onslaught has begun.
And if we, the parents, are already allergic to the thought of the early morning school runs, spare a thought for the little ones themselves.
For every child who is looking forward to getting back to their classmates, there is another who will have to be dragged from the house kicking and screaming – and this has quite literally been summed up by a hilarious new viral photo.
Reddit user ‘xMudxCrabx’ took to the social networking site to share a laugh-out-loud photo of the scene in her house ahead of the first day back – and it’s all too relatable!
In the photo, a beaming little girl is seen posing for the camera, her schoolbag on her back, while her brother lies creased up with horror on the floor, in the background!
“There’s two types of kids on the first day of school…,” the simple caption read.
As you can imagine, the internet has gone crazy for the now viral photo, and some of the comments are just too good.
“He looks like me every Sunday night before I have to go back to work Monday,” wrote one Redditor.
