Hilarious video shows what really happens when you become a parent

As parents, we often take comfort in the fact that we are not alone in our struggles – there is always another mum or dad out there experiencing trouble with napping, toilet training, feeding – the list is endless.

 

So we can see why this new video has taken the internet by storm, since being shared on YouTube this week by bloggers Story of This Life.

 

The video, simply entitled ‘When We Have Kids’, is a humorous take on how, despite our best laid plans, parenting can be a complete minefield.

 

When Mum and Dad are introduced, they have some pretty high expectations of what parenthood will be like – their baby will eat organic food and work to their schedule; iPads and other tech devices will have no place in the life of their little tot, who will pick up potty-training with ease, apparently.

 

However, once Baby comes along, things turn out to be a little different, and they are forced to throw their expectations and preconceptions out of the window.
