While another season of the X Factor may be over, the legacy of one act is still alive and well - sort of.
Honey G made her Good Morning Britain debut this morning but her performance didn’t go quite as well as she’d hoped.
The rap artist walked to the stage while performing a cover of the Missy Elliott classic Get Your Freak On, an artist who Honey says she’s a big fan of.
However, it seems the 35-year-old might need to refresh her Missy memory as she was seen forgetting the lyrics live on telly.

The performer from “North Weezy” – otherwise known as North-west London – seemed to lose her flow half way to the stage as host, Kate Garraway interrupted to fill the dead air.
But it seems Honey is not admitting defeat saying the mishap wasn’t a mistake, it was just her re-worked version of the 2001 hit.
To clarify,I did not forget the words to the Missy track on Good Morning Britain. The version was the edit I performed on X factor. @NME

This year’s X Factor novelty act, Honey was on the breakfast show to promote her first single, The Honey G Show which is available from Friday.
Talking about her signature look, Honey G says wearing the snapback and reflective sunnies isn’t always as glamorous as it looks.
"Having the glasses and hat on all the time sometimes gives me a bit of a headache.
"I take them off if I’m on my own at my flat or something."
We feel your pain, Honey!
