When you’re a multi-millionaire with a sell-out brand, you can afford the finer things in life – and, gosh, it really is interesting to get a peek inside how the other half lives!
Kim Kardashian just revealed that she uses a $23,000 Hermes bag as her ‘diaper bag’ for kids North and Saint, and the internet cannot handle it.
The mum-of-two made the revelation in the latest post on her official website, and ran through the list of products she keeps inside of her Birkin.
“My diaper bag for North has a mix of the essentials and some of her favourite things,” she said, adding, “Find out exactly what I carry with me!”
So, what does four-year-old North count among her essentials? Her $100 Mason Pearson pink bristle hair brush, cheesy bunny-shaped crackers, and pyjamas bearing the face of her favourite Disney character – Minnie Mouse.
So, while North isn’t so different to our own little princesses, we can honestly say that our changing bag game is a world away from Kim’s!
Of course, once word got out that reality star Kim had shelled out $23K on her changing bag, fellow mums took to the internet to share their thoughts – and they were as hilarious as they were relatable.
“I just unwittingly learned that Kim Kardashian’s diaper bag is worth more than I make in a year. So. That’s great,” tweeted one woman, while another added that she had ‘no words’.
Another Twitter user chose to look on the funny side of the story, tweeting: “I am still crying that Kim uses a Birkin as a diaper bag!”
It doesn’t seem like Kim will be too bothered by the responses, however, if her latest comments about mum-shaming are anything to go by.

The 36-year-old took to Facebook yesterday to hit back at critics who condemned her for placing 20-month-old son Saint in a forward-facing car seat.
“What people didn’t know is that Saint is now the weight and height requirement to sit forward-facing,” she explained.
“Saint actually weighs more than North, if that is believable.”
