Cheryl has admitted that she gave up on her beauty routine to focus on her new life as a mum-of-one.

In her first interview in ten months, The Girls Aloud star revealed, “my beauty regime has actually gone out the window”, since the birth of her first son Bear.

Cheryl, who gave birth back in March, believes that there is too much pressure on mothers to look perfect shortly after giving birth.

The Fight For This Love singer revealed that she does not have a nanny and she is looking after her son Bear 24/7.

She spoke out about the high expectations and believed that they were far too unrealistic.

The pop star believes that it’s not possible to look, “perfectly made-up” when you’re a new mum. She feels that taking care of your newborn is far more important than focusing on your image.

Cheryl admitted that it felt odd to get dolled up again, “I went out for dinner a few weeks ago and it was strange to see myself made up again but lovely at the same time.”

The new mum kept a low profile when she welcomed Bear into the world, with boyfriend and former One Direction member Liam Payne.

Cheryl has just started making public appearances again. She recently attended the Game 4 Grenfell charity football match with Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts. The event raised over £200,000 which will be given to the survivors.

Cheryl was also spotted at the BGC Charity Day, where she gave her time to help raise much needed funds for over fifty charities, including her own charity Cheryl’s Trust.

Fans have been praising Cheryl’s slim, post-baby body. She has been flaunting her toned figure in photos over on Instagram. The singer has been working out with boyfriend Liam, who says Cheryl is an inspiration to other mothers.

The Strip That Down singer has spoken highly of his girlfriend stating that “she is a superwoman, I can't believe it. She's done so well.”

Cheryl’s interview with This Morning will air on Wednesday, September 13 after 10:30 am.
