If you're still not over the gorgeous pictures of George and Charlotte from yesterday's Trooping the Colour celebrations (yeah, us neither), then you are in for san adorable treat.

To celebrate Father's Day, the wonderful humans at Kensington Palace have shared a heartwarming post on social media - and we're melting (that might be as a result of the weather, though).

Split in to two, the post on Instagram shows a lovely old picture of Prince Charles with a very young (and adorable) Prince William and Prince Harry.

The bottom photo is of Prince William cuddling the ever-adorable Prince George.

Happy Father's Day. Wishing all the fathers out there a very happy day.

The older of the two pictures was apparently taken in 1997, on a royal family trip to Balmoral, while the most recent image was taken 19 years later during the Royal Tour of Canada.

"Happy Father's Day! Wishing all the fathers out there a very happy day," reads the post - and it is too cute.

And while we would have loved to have seen a family picture that included the patriarch of the royal clan, Prince Philip, we can't deny that the post is really lovely!

Here's hoping Prince William, and all the dads out there, have a fantastic day!
