Harrogate Christmas Market

Harrogate Christmas Market returns from Thursday 27th November to Sunday 30th November 2014 – and this year it will be even bigger and better.

 

Organised by Harrogate Chamber of Trade and Commerce, this four-day festive market will be filled with high quality Yorkshire and Harrogate products. This year it is expected to have around 200 stalls selling everything from Yorkshire cheeses and chutneys to handmade gifts and Christmas decorations. And of course, Santa will be back in his grotto with real reindeer outside!

 

Among the highlights will be the large Craft and Gift Marquee and a Food and Drink Marquee which will have café-style tables and chairs for visitors to relax and enjoy the Yorkshire produce on offer.

 

There will be even more Funfair Rides for the little ones to enjoy too as well as festive musical entertainment from local buskers.

 

It’s not just the Christmas Market itself which will be bringing visitors to Harrogate – the Christmas lights will be officially switched on at a celebration outside the Victoria Shopping Centre on Thursday 20th November from 4pm to 6pm. The whole of the town centre will then be lit up every day with the glow of thousands of festive lights, throughout the four-day Christmas Market and right up until the end of December.
