About
Henley-on-Thames is a 12th century South Oxfordshire town whose fame emanates from the River Thames on which it sits. Host to the 1st Oxford v Cambridge university boat race, it now throws a fortnight-long party each year, around the world's greatest rowing regatta. Add a superb river and rowing museum, a music and arts festival, parks to stroll through, over 300 buildings of architectural or historical importance, and you'll hardly have time to linger in the vast array of restaurants, cafés and pubs!

The Thames Walk
Henley is a world-renowned centre for rowing, and each summer hosts the Henley Royal Regatta. Near the banks of the Thames is the world famous River & Rowing Museum, and further along a fascinating lock. To walk alongside the Thames on a summer’s evening, to see people playing in the park, or messing about on the river, or simply promenading, is a delight to behold. The Thames at Henley is a wonderful place to be!
