Huxleys Birds of Prey Centre

Come and meet a variety of birds of prey in a beautiful setting. We have our character birds including Sydney the laughing Kookaburra and Reaper the raven as well as our large flying team!
 

Meet an owl - during these talks you will get the opportunity to get up close and personal with these marvellous and secretive birds. All our owls are hand reared which give the chance to meet them without them being nervous or scared. Each session will involve a different bird so it’s worth coming along and see what you can learn.

 

Our displays are known to last the rest of the afternoon (and longer for us if our birds misbehave!) and you are welcome to stay for all or part of them. We encourage audience participation wherever possible and aim to fly a variety of birds for you. All of our birds are trained to show only natural wild behaviour and not tricks. So if you would like to see how differently Buzzards, Owls and Falcons go about hunting in the wild come along to the flying lawn at 2.30pm!

We also run special experience days including: raptor days, raptor and owl afternoons, hawk walks, and photographic days.
