A beautiful open air museum with an outstanding collection of historic buildings, working traditional farm, award-winning schools workshops and living history events.
Chiltern Open Air Museum provides an enjoyable and inclusive day out for children and young people where everyone will learn something new. Our 45-acre countryside site with 33 historic buildings gives children the freedom to explore the past through visual and hands-on experiences, as well as providing the space to run around, have fun and hold a picnic.
