Black Park Country Park

With over 500 acres to explore, there's always something to do in Black Park. With over 10 miles of well-surfaced tracks, you'll never be short of somewhere new to walk, run or cycle.

 

Children’s woodland adventure play area - free with equipment suitable for toddlers and younger children.

 

There are extensive forest paths and trails for walkers of all abilities with marked 1 mile trails. Join Simply Walk every Monday to explore the park more, get fit and meet new friends. For runners there are a wide range of paths and tracks and ideal for runners of all abilities. There is a 5km Park Run every Saturday at 9am (you must register online first).

 

Model boats – electric, sail and steam model boats are welcome to use the bottom area of the lake. No petrol boats. Black Park Model Boat Club meet Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Wildlife have priority at all times.

 

Horse riding – bridle paths run through the park. We cannot accommodate horseboxes in the car parks.
