We have so many great things to do such as meeting our Rabbits, Goats, Alpacas and Clydesdale Horses. We also have a timetable of Hands on Activities that run all day long. We also have a Giant Indoor Play Barn perfect for visits all year round.

Finkley Down Farm always has a host of animals to see and specially organised activities where children can touch learn and interact. We have a plethora of interesting breeds and species.

 

Meet our team of Shetland Ponies that carry out the pony rides for children during the summer months. Holly, our beautiful Shire cross Clydesdale was born at Finkley in December 2006 and she has never left the farm! Holly is a cheeky mare and a big attention seeker!

 

Ebony and Sparky are our odd couple of donkeys, Ebony is twice the height of miniature companion Sparky! They enjoy each other’s company and roam the field together trying to encourage humans to come over to provide some cuddles.

 

Scooby the Llama and Scrappy and Fred the Alpacas all live happily together. These majestic creatures originate from South America but are now popular in farming. Careful not to upset Scooby or she could spit at you!
