Millets Farm Falconry

Millets Farm Falconry Centre is home to over 80 birds of prey from tiny owls to huge eagles. It is the largest attraction of its kind in Oxfordshire. There is something for everyone, here you will not only be able to admire a wide and deserve range of birds of prey but also see what they are capable of and learn how they live in the wild.

 

Millets Falconry centre is owned and run by Sharon and James Channon who started out over 15 years ago with Fallowfields Falconry, a private centre only available by appointment but now offer an all-inclusive visitor centre open daily to the public with both daily flying demonstrations as well as a range of hands on experiences.

Some of the birds at the centre are for breeding purposes ensuring the captive gene pools are maintained but the bulk of the collection is used for flying in our displays These are ambassador birds helping us to educate the public in our daily displays and giving people the chance to appreciate them up close on our hands on experiences.

 

At any time we are flying around 20 different birds a day in our demonstrations. Each demonstration last approx. 40 minutes and contains different birds, the entrance fee allows you to leave an re-enter on the day as many times as you like so you can watch 1 show or all 3.

Tuesday – Sunday: 10:30am to 5:00pm

Weekends: 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm
