Congratulations are in order for Hollyoaks star Rachel Adedeji, who has announced that she is expecting her first child.
Rachel, who rose to fame on The X Factor, took to Instagram to share the lovely news.
The singer-turned-actress posted a beautiful photo of herself and her husband, Jason, cradling her blossoming bump.
“Delighted to say that Jason and I are expecting our first child,” wrote 27-year-old.
“Baby Adedeji will be due December 27.”
Rachel’s announcement was met with a flurry of messages of love and congratulations, with fans taking to the comment section to wish the couple well.
“That’s fantastic news, bub! Ecstatic for you both!” wrote one follower.
Another added: “Congratulations! It’s the most amazing thing in the world! Sending you loads of love.”
Rachel’s news comes just weeks after her friend and Hollyoaks co-star Jennifer Metcalfe introduced her newborn son to the world.
The 34-year-old and her partner, former Geordie Shore star Greg Lake, posed for an exclusive photo shoot for OK! magazine – with baby son Daye Colmic the star of the show.
