Adrianna Reschar went on an adventure with her mum, Cassandra, and her mum’s partner, Grant.
They dressed up in their Sunday best, heading out for brunch and a walk in the park.
The girls weren’t quite sure what prompted the big day out, but what they did know was that they were enjoying their time together.
But it was about to get better.
Grant had planned on proposing to Cassandra at a bridge in the park, and when he got down on one knee, Mum undoubtedly said yes.
Fighting through the tears, Cassandra revealed to ‘How He Asked’ that Grant got back down on one knee a second time, turning to her daughter Adrianna, asking:
“Adrianna can I be your daddy, to promise to love and protect you for the rest of your life?”
In a moment that has us all in tears, Adrianna thanked Grant before he asked if that meant yes or no, to which the five-year-old replied ‘yes’.
Grant handed little Adrianna a gift of a heart necklace, so that she will always have a piece of his heart with her now.
The happy couple’s moments were captured by Cassandra’s friend Mandi, and we’re pretty sure we cried at every single image.
