A mother is looking to press charges after her child’s daycare worker was caught breastfeeding him.
Kaycee Oxedine says she was advised by the daycare worker to breastfeed her child to aid his constipation before offering to do it herself.
"She said that she had a son, and did I want her to put my child to her breast and breastfeed,” Kaycee told ABC news.
“And I said, ‘No, that's nasty. We don't do things like that.’"
After leaving the daycare in North Carolina, CCTV caught the woman lifting her shirt and proceeding to feed the baby.
Born three months prematurely, the boy is lactose intolerant and was later admitted to hospital.
A spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services has revealed that the daycare worker had worked there for more than 10 years, but has since been dismissed.
