Jade Wilson is a blogger from North Norfolk who uses her blog, Raising the Rings, to share her parenting experiences with other mums.

A lover of cooking and baking, Jade admits that she has a bit of an obsession with baby products, and we love the honest reviews she pops up on her blog.

With a part-time job in financial services, a toddler to care for and another one on the way, we were delighted when Jade took the time out to let us in on her parenting secrets!

What is the most important thing you have learned since becoming a mum?

That your patience and understanding increases ten fold. It just suddenly increases, but don't be fooled - both will be tested!

What's the most ridiculous/hilarious/unbelievable thing your child has done?

The biggest projectile poo ever, all over my cream carpet in the living room. That's what happens when you're a first-time parent and you don't realise how far this stuff goes!

What's the weirdest thing you've said/done as a parent?

I did manage to put the milk in the dishwasher once - so many of those moments to choose from!

Name one thing you do that helps keep you sane?

Work. If only for two days a week, my brain is focused on one thing, rather than a million! I get some proper adult conversation too.

What is the best piece of advice you would give to other mums?

Trust your instincts, without a doubt. Every child is unique and so is every parent. Do what's right for you and if you're given advice, take it politely, but remember you can choose which advice you use.

If you had to choose just one thing that you absolutely love about being a mum, what would it be?

Only one thing?! Those arms around my neck, followed by a stroke of the face and then a big kiss to finish it off. It's as though he's telling me, "Mummy, I love you, thank you for looking after me".
