With Mother’s Day being celebrated in the US over the weekend, a host of people took to their social media channels to post sweet dedications and share the beautiful gifts and artwork they received from their little ones.

However, one mum who was not too pleased with what her child presented her with on the day was Amy Black, who took to Facebook to share her frustration after receiving a ‘Mother’s Day Report’.

Amy posted a photo of the ‘report card’ on her social media account, explaining that her young child had been asked by her teacher to fill it in.

Amy’s outrage over the ‘gift’ is not surprising, given that the children in her little one’s class were basically asked to assess their mothers’ homemaking skills.

Among the aspects of mum’s life that the children were asked to rate were cooking healthy meals for the family, organising her bedroom, caring for her children, and safe driving.

Expressing her anger, Amy wrote on Facebook: “This is a highly inappropriate activity for our children, teaching them to scrutinise and judge their parents, not to mention prying into their personal lives and sharing inappropriate information with their teachers and administration. This is [a] vile concept for the institution of motherhood!”
