We still have a few more weeks to wait, but it seems our neighbours across the pond are already gearing up to head back to school – and some parents are more excited than others by the prospect!
This is certainly the case for mother-of-five Keshia Leeann Gardner, who is quite literally jumping for joy at the thoughts of having the house to herself once again.
In a series of hilarious shots shared to Facebook, Keshia is seen leaping joyfully through the air while her children try to mask their tears and irritation.
“Happy first day of school, kids. I’m going to miss y’all,” she wrote in the caption, asking her friends to share the photo with ‘other parents that need a good laugh’.
It didn’t take long for Keshia’s photos to go viral, with many fellow mums and dads clearly able to relate to her feelings on the return to school.
“I’m dying, this is hilarious!” wrote one Facebook user; while another observed, “Been a while but I do remember those times.”
